Finger Prick Testing for Food Intolerance and Sensitivities

Are you, or your loved ones, suffering from food sensitivities or intolerances?

Symptoms of food intolerance tend to take longer to appear than symptoms of allergies.

The symptoms are varied and can include, migraine, cough, stomach pain, constipation, or diarrhoea.

An appreciable number of these symptoms can be very much diet related, which links back to our all-important gut health.

We have discussed gut health and functional testing in general in previous blog posts.

To assess your food sensitivities, intolerances, or both, we recommend a Finger Prick (IgG/ IgA) food antibody panel.

This test assesses whether your body is having an immune reaction to certain protein components found in food.

It tests for 96 common foods. It’s very simple via a quick finger prick (easily tolerated by young children), and results are back in approx 3-4 weeks.
