Five Ways to Use Apple Cider Vinegar

We all know that Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) is amazingly beneficial for your digestive system, but what about all the other incredible things it can do?

Did you know that Acetobacter ia group of helpful bacteria that have the power to transform alcohol (which comes from sugars in the apple) into vinegar?

Apple Cider Vinegar comes from squeezing and crushing apples. The resulting liquid undergoes two fermentation processes to produce vinegar.

Here are five hot tips for using your Apple Cider Vinegar.

For healthy, shiny hair, use ACV as a hair rinse

Mix one third cup of ACV with four cups of water, and pour it over your hair after washing it with shampoo.

Wait for a few minutes before you rinse your hair with cold water.

It brings out the shine in your hair and strengthens the strands from the roots to the tips.

Alleviate sunburn symptoms

Add 1 cup of ACV to your bathtub and soak for 20 mins, or alternatively dilute ACV and dab gently onto sunburnt skin with a soft cloth.

Minimise acne breakouts

Mix 1 part ACV with 3 parts sterile water, and dab gently with a soft cloth or cotton wool onto affected areas.

Leave 20 minutes or leave overnight on severe cases.

Repeat 2-3 times a day

Use as a room deodoriser

ACV is known to have antibacterial properties. Because of this, it’s often claimed that ACV can eliminate bad smells.

Try it out by mixing ACV with water to make a deodorising spray

Sooth a sore throat

Once again the antibacterial properties of ACV could help kill off the bacteria that are causing your sore throat. Dilute 1 part ACV to 4 parts of water, and gargle 3 to 4 times a day.
